These are the first lines of the Declaration of Independance. I put that because in this entry, I'm declaring myself free from a few things. The first thing is excuses, I will no longer make excuses for anything. The second thing this I will no longer jump through hoops to impress people, I will always be myself no matter what the circumstances. The third thing is politics. This is the one I want to talk about. I believe the political battle in Wisconsin has gone on long enough. I don't believe Scott Walker has done anything deserving of being recalled. But I'm not convinced there hasn't been any foul play on his side. I believe all politicians Republicans and Democrats alike are born liars. They say they care about the people they represent, but all they really want is money, and power.
I don't believe people need certain politicians to suceed in life. I believe there are opportunities for people to suceed regardless of what political party is in power.
Another reason i don't like politics is because I'm a Christian. I don't put my hope in any politician, I put my hope in Jesus Christ's death and resurrection. No politician or any other being on earth for that matter, can save me from my sinful condition. Only Christ can. I believe that this earth is not my home. I believe there is a place waiting for me in heaven.
Tomorrow I will cast my vote for Scott Walker. But if he dosn't win, life goes on. I will not use it as an excuse to give up on achieving my goals. This is the first and last time I will talk about anything political on this blog. I now coinsider myself free.
